Corofino II - Outstanding from the start

Corofino II was approved in Germany in 1998. He went on to do his 30 day stallion test in Schlieckau where he received:

As a five year old Corofino II qualified for the Bundeschampionat (German young horse championships) where he won one of the qualifications for the final with a final note of 9.

A Showjumping Phenomena with Thomas Konle

After this Corofino II continued in sport with Thomas Konle in the breeding region of Baden Wittenburg and over the years he accumulated more than 125 wins and placing's up to 1.60cm. Corofino also fulfilled his breeding duties over this time and now his oldest crop are 7 year olds.

Further Victories under Janne Meyer

In 2009 Corofino II returned to Holstein and was ridden by Janne Meyer with fantastic results including a 3rd in the Tasdorf Grand Prix, a 2nd in Balve, the German Championships and winning the Breitenburg Grand Prix in Holstein in which the field included the Beijing silver medalist Rolf-Göran Bengtsson on his Olympic mount Ninja.

Corofino II had a phenomenal European record jumping more than 90% clear rounds from 1.45m to 1.60m 4m waters. The first thing people comment on is his scope and how careful he is.
