Lucero Omega Pedigree

Lucero Omega

Lucero Omega brings together proven Holsteiner lines to produce versatile youngstock with jump and big elastic, movement.  He gives height, a kind temperament and fast-learning to his progeny.

fast learning, with good shoulder, and top line with powerful hock action that creates powerful big-moving horses.
Sire - World Equestrian Games Qualifier

Lucero Omega is by the well known stallion Landioso who jumped successfully in Germany before beginning a dressage career that has seen him win Grand Prix competitions in Europe and New Zealand.  He became the NZ National Champion in 2006 and qualified with Jody Hartstone for the World Equestrian Games.

The Mare Line

His dam is Stellar Miss Universe is by the Holsteiner stallion JK Sacramento (imp. Australia). She was a tall 17hh mare, upstanding and extremely elegant. She exhibited a wonderful temperament with floating extensions in trot and huge scopey canter - she was the image of Sacramento but her dam produced black type foals.

The thoroughbred family in Lucero's dam line is very influential tracing directly back to Hyperion. It is a family renowned for producing steeplechasers and jumpers of international quality.

A Good Cross over Tb and WB mares

Lucero Omega crosses exceptionally well with tbs and his progeny are showing their versatility in all disciplines including eventing.  One of Lucero's youngstock placed on their very first outing, a one star event at Puhinui, a testament to the easy temperaments and trainability that he is passing on.

Young stock from both warmblood  and thoroughbred mares are cleaning up championships, in hand and first ridden hacks all over NZ.

A Lucero Omega daughter, Leilani,  was HOY winner of the 2015 Performance Horse In-Hand Supreme Champion.
